One of my favourite trends this season
is velvet. The main appeal of this long forgotten fabric lies in its texture
and how it makes dull colours ‘pop’. It adds the evening factor to simple
dresses like no other, and makes an otherwise boring plain mini or maxi dress stand
out from the crowd. Black, oxblood, burgundy and navy blue are the go-to
colours. If you have more courage, a bright velvet element in your look will
look fantastic paired with pieces that have different textures. Below a small selection
